The Filesize Chart module scans all the files within one or more folders and then provides a Top 100 list of the largest files. A nice way to target multiple versions of duplicate bloated documents.
1. Select the folder(s) you want to scan.
2. Click to select a file to remove it from your hard-drive or double-click it to locate the file. You are given the option to locate the file in order to help you make an informed decision about whether the file should be removed. As a rule of thumb, if you don’t know what a file does, do not remove it, particularly if it is a system file. In this case, the file, although with an obscure name, happens to be located in the Downloads folder and can be removed.
3. Click CLEAN to remove the selected files. The number and size of removed files will be displayed.
