Can I delete multiple rows?

Yes, simply select each rows by holding down the CTRL key, then press DEL, this will delete the highlighted rows.

How does the 'soundslike' feature actually work?

The 'soundslike' feature is used to search for words that sound the same. For example, you may need to search for something that you are not sure how it is spelt. Simply choose 'Find', then enter the word you wish to search for, then click the 'soundslike' box. All word that sound the same as the word you typed, will appear one by one.

The spelling manager appears to be almost empty, why is this?

The spelling manager can be used to correct names, addresses etc, and if we included every name and addresses in the world, the size of the file would be huge. What you can do is import a list of correct words, names, addresses and add them into the spelling manager. The spelling manager will store the details for future use.

Is it possible to export just the filtered selections?

Yes, simply select 'Export' and WinPure ListCleaner will ask you if you want to export the filtered selection only.

Can I add new records?

The table has turned yellow, what does this mean?

This means you have entered into the 'Filter' mode. To turn this off, simply click the yellow triangle on the top menu bar.

The 'Find & Replace' function takes a while on large files, is there an alternative method?

Cnty) onto the 'SELECTED VALUES' table, and enter the correct value (eg, County) onto the 'NEW VALUE'...then click 'Convert'....this will convert ALL the entries into the new value.
